Diane is the Managing Director of RNC. Over the past 25 years, Diane has executed plans and strategies in many countries, across cultures, and industries. Diane has achieved this in endeavours as diverse as biotechnology product development, IT system implementations, global product release, film production, change management programs, re-branding of businesses, and starting companies for groups of investors.
Some of the industries in which Diane has worked include government, airline, electronics, banking and finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail, fast moving consumer goods and biotechnology.
With failure of initiatives widely reported, researched and discussed, Diane found it baffling there was no genuine attempt to replicate success. It seemed that everyone was living in the problem. Diane decided to study what made the rare ones successful. She decided to live in the answer.
During this time Diane conceived and tested the hierarchy of relevance and developed Magia™, an approach and tool through which the hierarchy of relevance moves from theory to application. Diane remains mystified that strategies continue to fail in execution when there is absolutely no reason for execution to be the problem.
Diane speaks at industry conferences, is quoted and reported in industry press, and is invited to speak to students of management at major educational institutions.
Andrew is a Program Director at RNC with over 20 years experience, mainly in financial services industry in Australia and the UK. He is totally committed to making projects happen including understanding of the target outcome, bringing together the right energy, project people and straight talk to clients.
Andrew has a particular interest and specialisation in managing post M&A transition projects. There is a great deal of supporting evidence that most acquired businesses result in a loss of purchaser shareholder value over time. Anecdotally, the reasons for this include paying too much for the asset and poor transition project management after the ink on the contract has dried. Although we cannot help on ensuring the right acquisition price is paid (that’s not what we do), we can certainly help with a successful transition project (we do the “how”). Andrew strongly believes that the signing of the deal is just the start of the journey and that transitions done well, will provide upside to shareholder value. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. Trying to save pennies on transition project management is a false economy.
Although Andrew is a Certified Practicing Project Director with the Australian Institute of Project Management, he finds it intriguing that often the very best project people have no formal project management qualifications.
As a result of past adventures, Andrew remains a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and has a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University (prize winner).
Ray’s role with RNC is to extend the availability of RNC’s services to more clients. (We don’t think it’s fair to limit access to those we already serve).
His indefatigable approach to results and a positive “can do” attitude is infectious. He constantly strives for improvement in implementation and delivery; looking for results above activity, and he has a track record of focusing on outcomes to ensure client success.
Ray has developed businesses, operations and sales teams and delivered projects across many countries, cultures and industries, specialising in IT, Telecommunications and Software Development. In recent years he has become a bit of an expert in the newer high speed wireless communications and applications technologies and services.
Ray believes client satisfaction through a successful project should be treated as a normal, expected outcome, rather than a surprise – with an emphasis on doing the right project as well as doing the project right. Ray collaborates with Diane and the RNC team of program and project professionals to ensure that our clients keep coming back for more and tell others of their success in using RNC’s services.
