Hiya,
As I was coming onto the bridge yesterday morning I spied the first jacaranda bloom of the year – does anyone know why that is always the first one? Just to the left as you come up to the toll booths going south?
Anyway, I have a personal thing that, as the song says, “When the Jacaranda blooms Xmas time is near”… so I broke out the Xmas playlist and sang a few favs. (You have permission to remind me of my enthusiasm and excitement any time I grizzle about Xmas music in the next couple of months – but for now its all good).
Hope your day is full of hope and excitement, Diane

Working Towards My Top Job! is a workshop being held on Friday 26th November 2010 by the Sydney chapter of the PMI’s Special Interest Group – Women In Project Management. It should be of special interest to you if you have been asking yourself, where to next from here?
It’s an interactive workshop and I’ll be one of the guest speakers, so mark it in your diary. It should be fun!

A lady I grew to love and admire, introduced me to the sunflower many years ago and I’ve had an affinity with them ever since. You see, when they are growing they literally orient their faces towards the sun, constantly moving and changing in an effort to stay in the light. When they are fully grown they become rigid, no longer following the sun. Soon after, they…… well, it’s not good.
It’s so easy to get diverted by the not so good, to become rigid and unhappy.
Life is simply better when I stay young and orient towards the good stuff.
I hope you are smiling today!
Diane
